Automobile accidents are the most common type of vehicle accident and are a leading cause of personal injury and preventable death. Thousands die or are injured in car accidents every year and these road traffic accidents are cause for both civil and criminal liability. Drivers, passengers, and pedestrians may all be entitled to compensation for damages, injuries, and pain and suffering in road accidents caused by another’s negligence. Whiplash/Neck pain: Whiplash injuries occur when a person’s spine, usually their unrestrained neck, is hurt by being thrown quickly in one direction and then in the opposite direction. Headaches/Tension/Arthritis: When drivers or passengers seem to be uninjured after an auto accident, it is not uncommon for the injuries to remain hidden for a period of time. As a result, individuals might forgo medical treatment. After several months, the pain may be “felt” in the form of headaches and tension in the back and neck. Eventually, the symptoms may worsen and debilitate the individual. It is at this point that he or she might consider visiting a chiropractor.

Hello, my name is Ann Langfitt and I was in an automobile accident on October 11, 2002. I was knocked unconscious by the airbag. This is the visible damage I sustained (pictures before and after the accident). The impact with the airbag left me with severe vertigo and nystagmus. Dr. Hicks, the Lord works in strange ways, but when we’re walking with Him, our footsteps are directed by Him. Last year after going thru the four (4) hurricanes here in Florida & being caught in a Tornado here in Titusville while in my car, I ended up in our office for neck treatments. I had sustained whiplash symptoms and was in constant pain from that encounter.
